Ryan Gil: Biography

Ryan Gill is a talented fine artist who specialises in large scale oil on canvas portraits, working predominantly on private commissions.

Graduating from Duncan of Jordanstone with a BA in Fine Arts and then completing his MFA, Ryan has nurtured his passion for depicting the human form and story telling from that initial concept.

His approach is unique as is his style. Ryan takes the human form and works from a contemporary, conceptual idea. Leaning more towards the Baroque style of painting, Ryan’s art is refreshingly different and edgy.
